Agent-Based Modeling of Consensus Group Formation with Complex Webs of Beliefs

Formation of consensus groups with shared opinions or views is a common feature human social life and also well-known phenomenon in cases when are complex, as the case formation scholarly disciplines. In such cases, not simple sets but rather complex webs beliefs (WoBs). Here, we approach group through agent-based model (ABM). Agents’ described extensive web-like structures resembling semantic networks, i.e., beliefs. ABM introduced here, agents’ interactions participation sharing their dependent on similarity beliefs; greater similarity, more likely interaction elements WoBs. interactions, WoBs altered agents seek formed.
